This slightly slouchy hat is a quick and easy knit in worsted weight yarn. The brim starts with an easy modified twisted rib. The body of the hat is worked with slipped stitches every other row that slide back and forth, creating a zigzag pattern. Worked in the lovely Malabrigo Rios, this hat will be done in no time!

Finished Measurements:

18.5 (20.5, 23) in, 47 (52, 58) cm circumference; 8 in, 20 cm height

For a slouchier hat, you can work the repeat one extra time. Finished height for slouchier version is 9.25 in, 23.5 cm.

This hat is suitable for those with advanced beginner-intermediate skills.

Skills needed include the following: casting on, knit, purl, k2tog, using dpns (for the crown), as well as knitting through the back loop, and slipping stitches with the yarn in front.
