Inspired by the Gothic architecture of the Natural History Museum in South Kensington, London, this triangular shawl pattern was written especially for Knit Nation 2011.

This shawl is knit top-down, back and forth in one-piece. It has a cabled top band and intricate lace panelling expanding to a scalloped edging with crocheted cast-off. Instructions are both written and charted. This pattern is rated as challenging.
