This baby blanket has been designed using Rowan Handknit Cotton DK worked double to give it a lovely soft but weighty feel. It is embellished with a number of hand crocheted flowers and a bumble bee.

The matching cushion would make a lovely addition to any nursery scheme. I designed it to bring a touch of spring to a nursery and be kept as an heirloom keepsake for years to come.

The knitted elements of this design are fairly simple and require a basic knowledge of knitting. THe crochet embellishments require a good understanding of basic crochet techniques.

10 50g balls of yarn are required to complete the blanket and the cushion with oddments of cotton glade or 4 ply cotton yarn to complete the crochet flowers and bee.

THe finished blanket is designed to fit a moses basket and measures approax. 65cm across by 80cm long.
