The Calgary Lace Cowl pattern purchase is more than just a pattern. The instructions include a mini-tutorial on adapting this pattern to other weights of yarns and sizes of needles.

The pattern also includes instructions for knitting the Calgary in three different lengths. The width of the cowl can be customized as you knit. Yardage for modifications to the width is not included.

Wrap yourself in softness with this uniquely beautiful lacy cowl. The Calgary comes in two sizes. The smaller size can be used as a snood or hooded scarf or draped around your shoulders. The medium and large sizes can be folded, doubled, draped in numerous ways and used as a hooded scarf. The Calgary is so versatile and a great accessory for any outfit. There is no right or wrong side and the lace stitches blend well with each other. The bulky yarn and large needles create an unbelievably soft fabric. The pretty lacy stitches add texture and loft to keep you cuddly warm all winter long.
