First release from the 7 Hats More e-book.

Frosty breath, crackling ice on a thin puddle, a jaunty pom-pom are all signs that Winter is fast approaching. A warm lined hat is just what is needed for those cold winter months!

Thin Ice is a hat created in two layers. The outer lattice cable is knit with a chunky weight yarn, once it is completed the hat is turned inside out and the lining is picked up at the top of the ribbing. The lining is knit with a lightweight silk/mohair blend. Sample shown was knit with FleeceArtist Thicket in Blue Heron and lined with Drops Kid-Silk in black.

Notes on sizing: While only one size is offered the hat could be sized up or down using needle sizes. Need it a little smaller, use smaller needles or need it a little larger, use larger needles.

So about a month ago I designed this hat. And then I designed another hat and all of a sudden I had designed 7 hats and had more in my brain that were begging for release…. So why not create an e-book to hold all of these ideas and here we are!

It is not just going to be a hat pattern book. There are going to be some coordinating accessories. Some of the hats will be stand alone projects, single size and no accessories. Some hats will be sized to fit the whole family. Some hats will come with a slew of accessories and some will come with only one accessory! There will be 12, maybe 13, hats in 7 Hats More and currently an unknown number (eight and counting) of accessories.
