This pattern is actually 3 patterns in one,
A simple garter stitch shawl, an Oyster stitch shawl, and a Trinity Rosebud shawl. The garter stitch shawl is easy enough for a beginner knitter, the other 2 stitch patterns will give a more experienced knitter a small challenge.

Now these three remain Faith, Hope and Love but the greatest of these is LOVE. (1 Corinthians 13:13)

I designed this pattern in memory of a woman of simple beauty. She taught me by her example how to live a life of faith, how to trust in the Lord for hope, and how to give unconditional Love to every person I meet.
