Use these little fruits as keyring charms, jewellery, or as toy food for playtime. Each uses only a small amount of yarn so are super stash-busting projects.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the strawberry and cherries are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and a handful of toy filling.

SIZES
One size only - The cherry is 11cm tall and the strawberry is 6cm tall (including the stalks).

TECHNIQUES
For beginners and above, techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and a little seaming to finish.
