Trouvaille: Something lovely found by chance.

Starting with solid double crochet, a filet diamond and cluster stitch pattern grows row by row, bounded by post stitches, until the entire shawl is filled with filet diamonds and special cluster stitches.

Level: Intermediate
There is one special stitch and two post stitches. There is a detailed picture tutorial.

Size:
Adjustable. Information is included to change the length and width of the pattern. The length can be adjusted by working more or fewer pattern repeats.
The pictured shawl is 66” long and 13” wide before blocking and used one whirl 1094 yards (225 g) of fingering weight yarn.

The pattern is written in English using US crochet terms. The PDF download includes:

I made the pictured shawl with Scheepjes Whirl yarn (1094 yards) and a D (3.25 mm) hook. However, the pattern can be worked with any yarn any other yarn weights.
