Knitting Pattern for a classic Carmen Blouse with a ruffled border and wide balloon sleeves and a wide body in sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL.

Structure:
The blouse is worked in stockinette stitch in the round top down with raglan increases. For the carmen décolleté, you will first work a longer stripe in double knitting, which will be wrapped around the upper bust circumference and the upper arms. It should be very tight so that the blouse has a good fit around the upper bust and the upper arms. After closing the double knitted stripe to the round, the ruffled border and the yoke are prepared along the stripe: On the upper side, stitches for the ruffled border are picked up and are worked in stockinette stitch in the round. On the lower side, stitches for the yoke are picked up and you will then work all stitches in stockinette stitch in the round with raglan increases to shape the yoke. As soon as you have reached the required number of stitches for your size, separate the sleeves from the body and finish the body in stockinette stitch in the round. The stitches are bind off with an i-cord-edging. Afterwards, the sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch in the round as well until they cover the elbow. Then, a bunch of decreases is worked and the remaining stitches are casted off with an i-cord-edging. The fit of the blouse is very feminine due to the romantic carmen neck. The neckline is emphasized by the ruffled border along the double knitted stripe, the body is especially airy due to the large amount of positive ease and the sleeves are wide and tighten at the elbows for a balloon-like shape.
