Shawl is worked bottom-up, lace section first followed by short-row shaping. This would be a good shawl to become familiar and practice working twisted stitches and ending up with a shawl. There are two sizes offered on this pattern. The larger shawl has 25-motif repeats, the small 21-motifs. Pattern includes written instructions as well as a chart for the lace edge. Skills/stitches are: twisted stitches, K1tog-B, p2tog-B, k1-B, p1-B, purl and knit.

There is no gauge as this is not a fitted garment. Large size shawl was made with Debbie Bliss Wool/Cotton using 4-balls (488-yards). The small size shawl was made with Knit Picks Telemark yarn with 3-balls (309-yards).

Errata: Cast-on for large size should be 405-stitches.
