This is a pattern for a light weight wrap. It’s heavier than a shawl, but just the ideal for a cool evening, or air conditioning. It is comprised of a single stitch, that comes to us from Japan. The stitch itself is an unusual lace with a bit of cabling in the center sections. The mock cables give it an interest not usually found in this type of lace. The final size of the shawl is 23 inches by 74 inches. The stitch is both charted and written out line by line. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged. The lace itself is a true lace.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)

The focal stitch is both charted and written out line by line.

The yarn used in the sample is Fleece Artist’s Lofty 2-6 in colorway, Tulip.
