I’m usually right on with the pattern gauge with the recommended needle size, but this time I had to go down 2 sizes. That makes me a little nervous. I’m hoping it’s the difference with the yarn I picked. Also, I’ve never done a moss stitch swatch, so maybe that could be contributing too.

August 2015 update
The sweater turned out to be a few inches too short for my husband. I put it off for a while, but I finally pulled out the cuffs and added 2 inches to the sleeves and 3 inches to the body.
