put the markers for the decreases at the wrong spot on the fronts but have decided to live with it.

Also, first decrease on back done at wrong marker. Again, Figure it will be fine.

Nov 29: body finished. Need to pick up stitches around armhole and am stymied as to how to space them.

Dec 22: Picked up stitches the other day and started doing sleeve. Feels wrong. Started thread in forum and have a plan for fixing. I think it just needs a few more short rows and that the best place for those is at the end of the cap. So instead of stopping short rows when I have 16 stitches left under the arm, I’m going to go to 12. (Photo an attempt to show the quite substantial pulling happening at that join.)

YES. that seems to have worked.

2 things: short rows for extra depth, and extra stitches at the back neck about half way. Will ponder.

Decided that I don’t need extra depth so no short rows. However, added extra stitches across the back to make collar fold over nicely.
