Eager to get going on this fabulous Laura Aylor design. Had a special gradient put together by Cephalopod Yarns with 3 ogopogo skeins and 3 of a partial gradient set #4. Plan to knit one skein of ogopogo into the body and then do the collar with ogopogo. Then will move on to the gradient.

2 skeins knit lace collar (on US11s) plus body to just past sleeve split. Joining skein of “oddity#1” to start gradient stripes and used up on body. Skein of “oddity#2” added after last decrease, but switching to “oddity#3” after 3rd increase (not using entire skein here on body- maybe save some for sleeves?). Went to just one row past 5th increase with “oddity#3” and did hem pattern and sewn BO.

Pickup sleeves for ~35rows of ogopogo: k even for 10 rounds, then decr round every 10th round (3 decr with ogoopogo). Switched to oddity#2 for 2.5 inches then oddity#3 for 1 inch+edging. Sleeve #2 have the same amount of ogopogo, but ran out of oddity#2 at just under 2 inches; switched to oddity#3 for 1.5 inches, but ran out before edging so finished up with ogopogo.

Sleeves are not symmetrical with the color striping, but I love it’s uniqueness!

Mod: will not knit to full tunic length and might go for full sleeves depending on yarn.
