7/11 Finished! And I’m happy with the results :)
7/10 this should not be taking this long…dye lot error has led to much frogging and creative yarn placement…unfortunately I began the collar and yoke with the remnant of a skein of a different dye lot and when I realized it was lighter I wasn’t willing to start over…the ridges of the flounces helped to transition to the darker toned skein and I was able to scrape together enough scraps to finish the sleeves. The difference is slight but looks stripey side by side. I think the hood will be okay…
7/8 body finished, now for sleeves and hood. Will be adding the button band at the end.
7/7cast on for the largest size which yields a 3-6 month size at this gauge.

There was no project with a hood for this Tiered Coat pattern so I will be adding a hood from this little cardigan (hood for 3-6 mos size).

Mods:
~added hood from above pattern and did button band at the end rather than during construction to include the hood which is worked at the end.
~also omitted sleeve decreases along the way, preferring a roomier sleeve to go with the hood - started with 38 sleeve stitches, decreased 2 stitches in round 22 (@4”) and decreased in round 28 (@5”)(k2, K2tog around), one row before starting cuff
~worked cuff in seed rib instead of seed stitch.

Chest: 19.5 “ circumference
Arm length from underarm: 6”
Coat length from shoulder to hem: 13.5”
Hood length from bottom to top: 7.25”
