Decided last minute to make a miniature version of my Katie’s Capuche Coat for Katie’s new little sister Maddi. Hopefully their mom will send some cute photos of both girls together in their coats to post. (ETA: She did!)

12/8 Finished! Last photo is of sister Katie’s matching coat.
12/5 Knitting complete, quite a few ends to weave in, bath, blocking and buttons!

Yarn held double to approximate a worsted weight. I didn’t find the doubled yarn pleasant at all to knit with, but it got the job done.

Incorporated hood,stitch counts and needle size from the Springtime in Hollis pattern. At the beginning of the first tiered ruffle I switched to the instructions for the tiered coat, and increased in the manner described in the pattern. Edge stitches were omitted from the Tiered Coat pattern, as the button band/hood edging was done separately and last.

Measurements:
Chest: 17 inches around
Sleeve (from neck): 9 inches
Length (from neck/shoulder): 11.5 inches
