FYI: That second photo was a fun photoshop-I just stuck my little girlie in there with her new hat instead of Hermione. Perfect! :)

My little punk has decided she loves to read-she’s finally found her genre which is fantasy type stuff. She loves Percy Jackson, Maze Runner and has finally gotten into Harry Potter. So, of course she needs this hat. ;) I want to use fingering though-I think it is closer to the actual hat she wore in the movie.

then for the set up round k5 m1L, p5, then carry on as written…

Ok, so the grey is pretty light-but working it up I’m wishing it was even lighter…Oh well, hope sweet punk doesn’t mind. I’m also making it so that it will be the right size when it is blocked a bit-I don’t want it being bunchy-I want the cables to lay mostly flat-just like the movie hat…That’s another reason I messed with the numbers-I was taking my own gauge as I stretched it a little-I really hope I’m on the right track.

7-1-15: Ok, so considering I used fingering weight this is going far faster than I thought-I am almost to the decrease rounds and hopefully I won’t have as many issues as others are having-I’ll just fudge it if it seems complicated. I am so excited to get this sucker off the needles! :)

Finally done! :) EEK! A little issue with the decreases due to my changing the cast on number as well as not truly understanding the first row of decrease-I’ll put in what I did tomorrow…along with some pics! Very happy with it. I am so glad it worked out. :)
