Two-color block 2:

Follow the pattern as you wish (I used my brioche mod cuz I likes brioche), except instead of having a six-row repeat, you now have a twelve-row repeat. Let me explain:

R1 (ws), R2 (rs): MC

R3 (ws): CC1

R4 (ws), R5 (rs): MC

Up to this point you’re working like the pattern tells you. Now things get different:

R6 (ws): CC2 - brp instead of brk (or p1 in row below instead of k1) since you’re working on the opposite side of the work from the pattern. Now both of your contrasting colors should be together on the opposite edge of the work from the main color.

R7 (ws), R8 (rs): MC as patterned.

R9 (rs): CC1 - brp instead of brk (or p1 in row below instead of k1) as in R6.

R10 (ws), R11 (rs) - MC as patterned.

R12 (rs) - CC2 as patterned. At this point, all of the strands are back on one side together and you can start the repeats again.

Four-color block 3:

As with three colors, just carry the colors one repeat more.
