5.27.2012 Using 3.5mm needles--size 4, still not getting gauge (24 sts=4”) but I like the feel of the fabric at this gauge and I have 2 skeins to play with to make a decent size scarf. Ripped out my swatch and knit that yarn starting at midnight as this day started.

6.24.2012 Finished!! Just have to block and take the final pictures. Used all of one skein and 42 grams of the 2nd. This was a fun knit with a very nice result.

6.27.2012 Blocked (thank heavens for blocking wires!!!). And final pictures taken. Daughter Catherine loves this--she loved the yarn from the beginning--and even though I have called this ‘Trillian on Fire’ she calls it just ‘Fire’. I guess we will remember the summer of “Colorado on Fire” with this scarf.
