- wow, huge change in texture after soaking and blocking. i wonder if it will spring back as it dries?

hmm, this one’s all over the place. it did spring back a lot and the 5mm swatch yields up 16sts in some places and 17sts in others. 4.5mm swatch is more 17 to 17.5sts, 27 rows. mrs garter gauge is 17sts, 23 rows in st st; 18/26 in garter.

10 oct - cotton fine swatch in 2.75mm and 3mm washed and drying. cast on for wollmeise on 3mm.
4 oct - wollmeise swatch drying. Might be too loose. Will try w 2.75 or 3 next? Cast on last night w cotton fine on 2.75mm. Must also try malabrigo sock. And mad tosh sock.
28 sept 13 - swatching w wollmeise pure. started w 2.5 - tooo tight. trying 3.25mm now; might go down. looking for 28sts/10cm.
