Crochet: Cowl
There’s something mesmerising about how variegated yarn works up in crochet. Colours blend in beautiful ways with minimal-to-no pooling. Lyskamm makes use of a multicolour super bulky wool yarn to create a soft, but quite dense textured fabric. The cowl is worked from the top down in the round.
Knitting: Headband, Headwrap
Dammastock is a simple ribbing headband that is worked seamlessly and in rows. It is designed to accommodate different sizes by adjusting the tie of the i-cord edges. It can be worn in various styles. It makes use of most of a single skein of worsted, or aran weight of yarn.
Knitting: Cowl
Nesthorn is a simple pattern designed to make the most of one skein of fur yarn. It is worked seamlessly in the round from the top-down so it is easy to adjust the length according to available yardage, or by adding additional skeins.
Crochet: Beret, Tam
Ein Hut für Frühling is a beret that plays with texture and volume. It is a stylish hat that can accommodate those that have trouble putting on beanies due to curly and/or voluminous hair. I personally have that issue, where most beanies won’t stay on my head, unless they can also cover most of my hair. Comfy berets seem to solve that issue.

Crochet: Bag - Other
Hexaposi is a bag that was created by experimenting with hexagons and three-dimensional geometry. Playing around with different configurations, I ended up with a shape that can be used as a bag (as presented here) or if stuffed, as a toy, pillow, whatever you can think of!
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
I really enjoy wearing crop tops, so for a long time I have worked on such projects (or at least sketched some). Inspired by an unusual speckle cotton yarn and the thought of integrating some pretty lace, I created Micci.
Crochet: Drawstring Bag
For this year’s crochet lesson group, I wanted to create a design that would serve as a good exercise for working in the round, as well as with increases and decreases. Inspired by yarn I had at hand, I designed a round evening bag with a simple look but several decorative details.
Knitting: Belt
If you have ever tried any form of knitted colorwork, such as fair isle or intarsia, you know that managing all those different yarn strands can be an issue. Recently I came up with a new tool as a solution: a belt with pockets!
Knitting: Belt
There are plenty of garments that can make a good use of a belt either decoratively or practically. My problem usually is that I can’t find one that fits well and goes with most of my clothes in terms of design or color.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Kusafiri is a lightweight and airy summer shawlette that is fast and easy to knit. The colorblock effect is created using intarsia, while it’s peculiar shape with the use of simple increases and short rows. The garter stitch border prevents curling while the weight of the DK yarn is enough to give the shawlette a wonderful drape without blocking.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This wrap was initially created for an online knitting design competition organised by Franklin Habit and Knitty. (results here) It’s main purpose is to highlight the Templeton square and it’s knitted qualities. It’s worked in seven different parts, either in the round or flat, but features no seams: everything is knitted on the go, by picking ...

One of the first things I ever knitted was Federmäppchen, a pencil case, in order to just practice knitting as well as make something practical in everyday life.
Knitting: Hats - Other
Die Ohren der Katze is a super easy and fast hat to make. And what is even more great, is that you get to have cat ears without making additional pieces and sewing!
Knitting: Legwarmers
After having a serious knee injury, I realised that knees should be taken care of, at all times. What best way to protect them than with a pair of knee warmers! A pair, that can also be used as boot toppers or short leg warmers.
Crochet: Beret, Tam
Ein Hut für Sommer is a perfect hat for summer weather. It is a slouchy beret worked in the round with basic crochet stitches.
Crochet: Beret, Tam
The idea for this slouchy bulky hat came sometime in 2010, and if I remember correctly, I was inspired and influenced by the things I saw those days circulating in the internet. It’s one of my favorite hats, although some times it gets my hair messy. ^^
Crochet: Earrings
This pattern is more about the motif, and less about the earrings themselves.
