Knit in a fingering or light fingering yarn.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is knit in the round with Rowan Felted Tweed (A light DK yarn) and is a soft, fine fabric that will definitely keep you warm. The sample shown is knit as a beanie, but can easily be made longer to your likes.
Knitting: Cowl
A mosaic cowl knit in the round.
Knitting: Cowl
This mosaic cowl is easily knit in two contrasting colours, but you only knit with one colour per row.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
This tank is for a hot day at the park. I designed it to have giant armholes and to be quite loose fitting. The Scheepjes Whirl cotton yarn makes this an easy but impressive tank top to make and wear.
Knitting: Scarf
The Baz scarf is a handsome accent for a chic occasion or just coffee; a large cable runs up the side and there is a subtle eyelet pattern throughout. Knit in fingering weight yarn, it makes for a fine fabric and feels very rich close to the skin.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The Mbu shawl (pronounced mm-boo) is an eye-catching triangle shawl. Simple lace stitches make this a fun project to knit and create a light and airy shawl. An ombré yarn really makes an impact with this pattern.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Mokoro is a simple eyelet lace pattern knit flat using a few lace stitches, creating a zig-zag pattern, and is light and airy to wear.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This pattern was created with the beginner lace knitter in mind.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl is made with a single skein of sock yarn that even had a little left over. It’s knit flat and then joined in the round after cast off and finished with a crochet mock i-cord edge.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This spiral patterned hat is perfect for left over yarn. It only uses about 120m of DK yarn and 120m of fingering; the fingering yarn is held together through out to create a marled effect.
