I designed this hat as a thank you to all the awesome makers that contributed to Hats for Kiddos in 2020. The amount of appreciation I have for all of you can’t even begin to be described. Here’s to staying connected and to keep the Hats for Kiddos hat drive going each year.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This sock pattern was inspired by my friend Oh Happy Rays. We’ve bonded over Pokemon Go and Team Instinct.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This happy hat was inspired by my friend Oh Happy Rays’ love of yellow and our love for Pokemon Go team Instinct.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These super simple mitts can be knit with your favorite fingering yarn held double, or with your choice of DK/Worsted weight yarn. My hubby was gifted this fun Dr. Who inspired yarn and requested simple fingerless mitts.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a super easy and fun twisted stitch pattern that shows off tonal, variegated or solid color yarn. As always, I designed with hand spun in mind and this hat would show off hand spun beautifully.
Knitting: Cowl
This is a fun cowl that features twisted stitches, because we are all a little bit twisted, but your loony friends will love you all the more for it!! The pattern was inspired by the best story ever sent to me by a podcast viewer. You know who you are, my loony friend!

This is a fun little cowl to go with my April Showers hat. This cowl can be adapted to use a variety of yarn weights. It is also easily adjustable if you prefer a longer cowl to wear doubled. Suggestions for yarn weight and length modifications are included in the pattern.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a fun slouchy hat with fancy ribbing and a rain-drop lace motive in the body of the hat. The hat uses the Twisted German cast on for extra stretch and comfortable fit.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I came up with this fun little bulky hat as a last minute gift and thought I’d write it up for you to enjoy. I love the fun decreases and how it looks from the top.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap

Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is perfect for that gorgeous variegated yarn you’re not sure what to do with. Even better it can be worked up with fingering weight yarn held double so it is perfect for all those single skeins of sock yarn we have floating around in our stash.

Several months ago Dana, of Unwind Yarn Company, asked me if I’d be interested in designing something for her new JetSetter Bulky yarn. I immediately thought big bulky cowl and set to work trying to come up with a motive I found pleasing. Nothing inspired me until I found the stitch pattern for Inverness Diamonds in a Barbara Walker stitch dict...

This hat/cowl set would be an excellent introduction into color work and as such I use it when teaching color work at my LYS. It includes a very small and easy to learn chart. Using Noro or other long repeat yarns give the project a whole new spice and dimension once you learn the technique of color work with a more basic yarn such as Cascade 2...
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is a very basic, top down, stockinette, worsted weight sock with heel flap construction. I wrote up the pattern to use when teaching a beginning sock class and thought I would share it here on Ravelry.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This sock uses a version of the Tennessee Twister stitch pattern featured in the Tennessee Twister Cowl. It is a basic top-down heel-flap sock.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl uses the Tennessee Twister stitch and can be knit using any yarn at any gauge using the 10 stitch repeat. I used one skein of Unwind Yarn Company’s Journey Sock yarn in the Tennessee Iris colorway.
