Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
This is a beautiful but easy-to-knit shrug. It is knit flat from cuff to cuff. The edging is knit in the round after the arms have been seemed.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is an easy fair isle pattern that looks very impressive. It is based on traditional Northern European patterns.
Knitting: Doll

Knitting: Cowl
This is a super easy cowl that is great for beginners.
Knitting: Tee
This T-shirt is super easy to make and drapes wonderfully using fingering weight (sock) yarn. It is knitted in four pieces with the neck edging picked up after seaming has been completed.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is the basic sock pattern for all my socks. I have used this pattern for years without thinking about it, but put it on paper when I started teaching socks for classes.
