Crochet: Cardigan
A combination of classic granny squares and half double crochet makes this cardigan a rewarding project for the beginner to advanced crafter. There is very little sewing. I love to sew, just not after all that work. It seems that it takes just as long to sew as it does to crochet or knit, so let’s make it “Seamlessly Simple”™.

Revised and Updates 2023:
Knitting: Cardigan
A lovely lace collar and insert detail, makes this a most delicate cardigan. Although my most recent model is knit in 3 colors, a solid color works just as well. I also used Cascade Sport a yarn that has a variety of colors and is easy to purchase.

Isn’t this lovely, and fun to knit. The lapel shaping is done with knit cast on and then decreases at the front band edge, which is knit at the same time as the body. Seamlessly Simple. Just a touch of crochet (it can be optional-if you choose to include buttonholes in your front band.)
