Crochet: Hair accessories
Pattern includes 14 colour photos, illustrating where to work stitches. Pattern also includes a “text only” page, if you wish to print the instructions without photos - allowing you to save on printing costs. :)
Knitting: Softies - Other
Apr 28, 2015 Website has been redesigned, so pattern URL has been updated. Also changed name from Amigurumi Tooth to Kawaii Tooth. Partly due to losing a bunch of files and partly because it’s actually a more accurate title. Will update the PDF later on - still have a ton of pattern pages to reinstate to website. :/
Crochet: Animal Toy
Wentworth is a cute amigurumi teddy bear, with a customisable sewn face and removable jacket. The limbs are designed to enable him to sit (unaided) or stand (propped up), as they are drawn up to posable points before being sewn on.
Crochet: Brooch
This brooch is made in 3 parts, which are sewn together. It is intended to resemble a wild poppy, with its layered petals and rough leaves. Pattern directions are given in British English terminology, with American English equivalents noted where appropriate.
Crochet: Christmas Stocking
These mini Christmas stockings are available in 4 variations: plain, contrast heel, mesh/shell leg and full mesh/shell stocking. The ‘shell’ uses htr (US: hdc) but the plain stocking is simply dc (US: sc), so this pattern is suitable for beginners. The only difficulty is remembering to keep track of your stitch count because of the short rows!
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I think twist stitches (mock cables) are a fun alternative to cables! Thick, chunky wool exaggerates the size of the twists and makes those mock cables pop out for serious texture and charm. The pattern is called Durum, both in the sense of “hardy” and because the chunky twists are reminiscent of (durum) wheat ears.
Knitting: Applique / Embellishment
You can use 3 mm (US 2.5) or 4 mm (US 6) knitting needles for this pattern. Or anything in between that. Any small amounts of DK wool will do - it doesn’t use much at all. Gauge/tension is not important.
