Knitting: Cowl
This cowl was designed with the thick fog and windy hills of San Francisco Bay in mind. Quick to knit, it’s also a great project for beginners or for anyone wanting to explore cabling. I’ve purposely left gauge off this pattern as cabling gauges can vary so much with the type of yarn and the knitter’s own tension. Experiment with what you like ...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
A funky little hat knit in bulky (chunky) yarn that works up quickly with a faux-cable design that comes together neatly in the decreases. Great for knitters looking to advance their skill set by trying out new stitch patterns, and even better for knitters who need a cute, unisex baby hat STAT! Knitting: Chart
These charts are for you to use to make your own items in favour of Repealing the Eighth Amendment in Ireland (May 2018). Gauge is not important if you’re making a badge, necklace, or etc., just ensure the yarn is suitable for colourwork. Yardage suggested is for a hat.
Knitting: Scarf, Cowl
An easy, cozy scarf with a fun zigzag stitch pattern. Perfect for solid or semi-tonal yarns with good stitch definition. Make it as long or as short as you want, add stripes or blocks of colour, but keep in mind that the pattern detail works best on solid or semi-tonal yarns.
Knitting: Legwarmers
This pattern is easy to modify. Cast on more stitches (an even number) to make them fit a chunkier leg or to make them slouchy, knit more pattern repeats to fit a longer leg. The choices are yours!

I wanted something cozy to wear in winter, small enough to fit in my bag, and that looked interesting texturally and showed off some beautiful stitch patterns. There are five sections to this cowl, each with its own features.
