Knitting: Cardigan
As I approached 40 years old, I needed to feel empowered and a little bad ass again. I joined Roller Derby! It’s my first sport, and I can’t get enough! My derby name is WIP (Work In Progress)! That’s what I am, a work in progress. One of the amazing women on the team is called Rainbow Smite, and this sweater is inspired by her. I hope that thi...
Knitting: Pullover
I always struggle to find things to knit for summer babies. I live in Upstate NY, way up here in the Adirondacks on The Tug Hill Plateau. Winter knitting is a walk in the park, because it is cold so our babies need all the sweaters and hats. For those warm climate babies, or the summer babies though, it’s tough. Babies still get cold in air con...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I wanted to design a shawl pattern that had energy, and was wild and whimsical and distracting. I named it Haywire because it’s a little crazy, a wonderful mix of color and texture and flow. I want this shawl to be a fun knit project, a project to sample different stitches and play with the combination of techniques and color.

Knitting: Blanket - Other
I wanted to knit some design that would fade from one color to another to use with the 6 hanks of Humble Acres Sport weight yarn I had impulse purchased. I had the idea to make a cocoon set for twins to be snuggled down into together. When I worked at the birth center I used to always swaddle twins together. It just seems right for them to be a...

Knitting: Cloche Hat
This hat was designed to work with busy yarns or fun color pooling yarns. The slipped stitches are a fun element and the texture doesn’t get lost in the busy yarn. I love to dye and work with really wild variegated or speckled yarns, but it is sometimes hard to find a stitch pattern that doesn’t get lost in the colors. The great thing is that t...
Knitting: Cowl
I had purchased a bunch of amazing dragon scale beads a long time ago. I just never could find a pattern that I really liked with them. Then I had the idea to make a cowl and bead just the front, it will be warm but also a beautiful accessory. If you live in a cold area like I do, you will know how wonderful it is to have a scarf you can wear a...

This pattern is currently inactive as it goes through the redesign, tech editing and size grading process. Keep an eye out for these patterns soon. Thank you for understanding.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque, Blanket - Other
This is the perfect pattern for a warm weather baby. It’s always a struggle to find something to knit for a spring or summer baby, this is just the thing.
Knitting: Blanket - Other
I made this pattern to fit a newborn baby. It is super bulky yarn and big needles so it knits up in no time and is very stretchy. This yarn is wonderfully soft and fuzzy, it would be great to knit this in brown and put some teddy bear ears on it. I just might do that if my next baby is a boy.
Knitting: Blanket - Other, Beanie, Toque
This simple waving pattern is made with yarn overs and decreases. I am confident that even a fairly new knitter will be able to figure this pattern out.
Knitting: Blanket - Other, Beanie, Toque
In response to some of the comments on this project I am currently working on a rewrite of this pattern. I will be grading the hat for sizes from newborn to adult xl and the cocoon will be graded for sizes newborn, 3 months and 6 months. I will have this new work test knitted and tech edited. The quality of the pattern will be much improved.
Knitting: Blanket - Other, Beanie, Toque
I love this coin stitch! It is easy to knit, fun to watch take shape and it goes very quickly. I like how easy it is to change colors but I also think it looks awesome in a single color. This cocoon and hat set are super stretchy and a lot of fun for baby.
Knitting: Costume
This snowman pattern is absolutely adorable. It knits up quickly and is a simple project. I made this for a photography prop for a friend’s photography studio. Everyone who has seen it has been charmed.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This baby boobie hat is super fun and really cute. I made this pattern because I have been asked for it so many times I just decided to go ahead and write it down. I am constantly being asked by friends to make them one of these hats for their babies, it’s become my number one baby shower go-to gift. It’s a hit every single time. I hope you lov...
Knitting: Costume
This set is so cute, and super easy and fast to knit up. This is a perfect project for a weekend or a last minute baby shower gift. You are not likely to see another one of these little bunting and hat sets at play group, or anywhere else for that matter.
Knitting: Blanket - Other, Beanie, Toque
This pattern has recently been redesigned, rewritten, test knitted and tech edited. This pattern is also available part of the Dancing Cables ebook which includes my Dancing Cables Hat pattern (sized for infant through adult) and Dancing Cables Sweater pattern to complete the series.
