Knitting: Earflap Hat
Textured earflap hat in less than one skein of Malabrigo Merino Worsted with an easy faux cable. Named for the Palmer Glacier on Mt. Hood, Oregon where hats are necessary for the year-long ski season - yes even during the summer. If it gets too hot, tie the ties to keep it securely attached and easily accessible.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
The rich amber color of the yarn reminds me of caramel, and the mock cables ripple, hence the name. This bulky hat is warm and simple to knit.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This season-spanning hat is soft and light as a feather in either Malabrigo Silky Merino or Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend (the yarns are nearly identical).
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Although I included yarn, needle, and gauge information, this pattern can be used for any size yarn or gauge and adjusted by filling in blanks in the pattern itself. Have fun and create your own masterpiece.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Super soft lacy hat designed to coordinate with the Lace Leaf Scarf from Vogue Knitting Spring/Summer 2005. Close fitting and cozy.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Very simple sock pattern for first-time sock knitters. Pattern designed for a sportweight sock, but a generic pattern is also available for any gauge or foot size.
