Pull out your dancing slippers! Trip the Light Fantastic is a pair of knee-high laceweight stockings with a mesh pattern and a cabled column worked from the toe up, beginning with a short-row toe. This is an adult top-down shawlette, with shaping based on Faroese style shawls. It will work to about 16-17 inches deep, and about 52-54 inches in the wingspan. Exact gauge is not important, but one should use needles that create a fabric that is not too flimsy or light. Any fingering yarn will work well.
