Crochet: Scarf
This pattern was designed for Lila & Claudine’s Yarn Shop as part of the Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop 2018. This year the theme of the Shop Hop was “Inspired by Heroes.” Lila & Claudine’s selected “Pet Rescues and their Parents” as their inspiration.
Crochet: Scarf
A crochet pattern for a light and airy asymmetrical curved scarf. Can be worn in several different ways.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Top down hat with a lovely lace brim to keep you warm during a cold winter.
Crochet: Scarf
The pattern is a keyhole scarf, using 2 different stitches, one on each rectangle. Each rectangle uses a different hook size. The stitches are very easy, as is the construction.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a nice warm, lined hat for a cold winter. The yarn used is soft, warm, a little fuzzy, but shows the pattern beautifully.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
This makes a toasty, cozy blanket, perfect for a car. Hold a neutral color strand along with a color strand, so it’s really Worsted weight thick.
Knitting: Cloche Hat
Based on technique from Robin Hansen’s Favorite Mittens book. You weave in roving while knitting the hat. You get the warmest hat you can imagine. Warm at least to -10 degrees Fahrenheit. Same technique as that used in the Bulky Double Rolled Mittens

These mitten are based on a technique described in Robin Hansen’s Favorite Mittens. They’re similar to thrummed mittens, but you hold a length of roving in your left hand and weave it in while knitting -- throwing in the American/English way -- with your right hand. Used the Fish Scale Lace stitch from the Field Guide to Knitting as the main pattern (with a 2 stitch garter stitch on the sides). And for the border, the first lace pattern in Lace from the Attic, knitted on.
