My inspiration for the fluffy blue shawl were the magnificent projects of my dear friend Birgit / Lennja who often combines the yarn with a thread of mohair. And while knitting the blue one, my two balls of gradient yarn have come to my mind … another inspiration.

All good things come in threes … three colours and three patterns make a cosy triangle shawl in a generous size. It is worked top-down in fingering weight yarn and just perfect for using single skeins of your stash.

“Dried leaves” is a sideways knit shawl in triangle shape, which promises enjoyment from the first to the last stitch.

“Comfort and joy” is a triangle shaped shawl, knit from the top down with an easy lace pattern combined with cables.

December Dreams is knit sideways in garter stitch, supplemented by slip stitch rows and chevron patterns.

Reflection begins at the top center in stockinette stitch and is worked in different knit and purl patterns outwards to the simple lace pattern. The result is a cosy shawl, big enough to wrap you in and (best of all) wearable on both sides!

“Rendezvous” is a crescent shaped shawl which is knit top-down in one piece. The textured sections, eyelets and short rows make this a diversified knit.

Almsee is a modern shawl, featuring a lovely ribbing border with a small lace pattern combined with garter stitch. The shape is an asymmetric triangle which is wearable in various ways.

“Ischl” is named after my beloved town of “Bad Ischl”, a cosy place in an idyllic countryside in Austria. My intention was to design a modern shawl with a traditional touch, using traditional patterns combined with a wearable shape.

Garter stitch combined with slip stitches create an interesting texture that is intensified through the several colour areas. Strobl is knit sideways and colours may be modified according to your preference.

Wolfgangsee is an asymmetric triangle shawl framed with a slip-stitch border on both sides and on the upper edge. The four sections in the centre are knit in stockinette stitch and short rows are used to shape the fourth part.

You cast on 6 sts and bind off 6 sts…. inbetween there are garter stitch, two I-cord-edges and so many possibilities for your own ideas and modifications.

Very warm and cosy around your neck, Night shift protects you perfectly against wind and cold. As this cowl is circular knitted and the slip-stitch pattern itself is very firm, it will always keep its shape.

As this is one of my first patterns, it is written in a style I wouldn´t use these days. But for now I can´t find the time to rework it! Thank you for your understanding ♥
