New Pattern Release

This textured, baby blanket pattern is great for advanced beginners and above.

I designed and knit Abigail’s afghan for my granddaughter before she was born. The stitch pattern has long been a favorite of mine from Melissa Leapman’s book, The Knit Stitch Pattern Book, and I was just waiting for an opportunity to knit it.

This is a classic ribbed hat.

Starter Brioche is designed for knitters who want to learn brioche.

Obidos is an asymmetrical shawl that was designed in collaboration with 7th Floor Yarn. Amanda and Judy have a new yarn base aptly named Luscious Fingering, 80% Superwash Merino/20% Silk. The pattern uses two colors, one variegated and one tonal. The sample was knit in Intoxicating and Teal.

Ava’s Blanket & Hat Set was designed for one of my daughter’s oldest friends. It was fun to knit up this set for her little girl.

During a Stitch and Chat™ class, I learned that one of my knitters, Lynn, had a daughter who dyed yarn. Now I’ve known Lynn for a while now and was SHOCKED that I didn’t know this. I mean, seriously, how did I not know this!

Measurements taken after blocking: 14.5”/36.8cm at deepest point x 68”/172.7cm wingspan.

We’re Making Waffles is an asymmetrical shawl that was designed in collaboration with Knits4Comfort yarns. Jenn has terrific colorways! The Spellbinding Cowl is a variation of Spellbound, an infinity scarf. The stitch pattern is the same, however it is knit in the round versus knit flat.

Shine Bright is a luxuriously soft and sparkly slouchy hat.

Artyarns Silk Day Dream is a magical yarn. It is light, shimmery, and has a lovely drape.

When I look at the herringbone stitch, I see tracks - could be tracks in the snow, ski tracks, tire tracks, or even bird tracks. It’s an interesting textured stitch that creates a nice dense fabric for the brim of a hat.

The combination of hand-dyed yarns in two color brioche is, to me, spellbinding. I love looking at the contrast of the two colors as they play off each-other.

Marrakesh Express makes the most out of the beautiful hand-dyed yarns from Artyarns. The scarf is knit in blocks of different stitch patterns that alternate using both the variegated/solid, solid only, or variegated only. The pattern blocks are divided by garter sections of the Beaded Silk & Sequins Light.

On cold, rainy days, all I want to do is pull on something soft and cozy and knit. Truth be told, it’s what I want to do on warm, sunny days too ~ but I digress.

In keeping with the design elements of my Fallen Halo 2 Cowl, a welting pattern is created alternating purl rows of Cashmere Glitter with knit rows of Cashmere 5.

I love the speckled pops of color in Yarn Catcher’s yarns and wanted to design scarf that would make the most of her hand-dyed yarns. Because few of us can resist a the draw of a stunning skein of hand-dyed yarn, I wanted it to be a one skein wonder.

For that time when your kid wants cabled (over the) knee high socks with an elastic band in a yarn that will obscure the cables and is also not too thick/not too thin - and gets a super sized scarf instead.

I am smitten with gradient kits. The lovely way the colors morph is captivating. I wanted to create a pattern that would work with the changes, add texture, and enhance the beauty of the color transitions.

I designed this to be that “go to” sweater that you automatically reach for time and again. It fits well and is comfortable to wear.

I’ll look for any excuse to knit with Noro yarns. The color variations in their skeins are incredibly compelling. I love combining the colorways of Silk Garden and Kureyon.

This is a versatile accessory that can be worn year-round as an outer garment in the warmer weather and as an accent piece in cooler weather. Wear it one of three ways, point in front, point in back, or point to the side. You get the point?! If you knit it in a sparkly yarn, it is the perfect piece to wear in the evening.

Perfect cover up over a camisole or tank. Works up very quickly. Berroco Versa colors are terrific.

A fun, girly scarf to delight any toddler. Fringe as you go. It’s just a happy scarf.
