Knitting: Baby Blanket
This adorable baby blanket is great fun to knit with its combination of traditional Fair Isle borders and cute sheep motifs. The blanket is fully charted, with the borders and sheep charts laid out separately, allowing you to mix and match to create your own arrangement. What is more, individual sheep charts are provided with a blank sheep canv...
Crochet: Scarf
Yarn: You will need only 570 yds of background colour, and small amounts of contrast colours. The sample has been made with two solid pinks, but the rose motif would be a great way to showcase scraps of varigated or hand dyed sock yarn.
Knitting: Scarf
Tension is not critical for this pattern, the above figures are given as a guide only. The pattern is designed for a single skein of hand-spun super-chunky yarn. Tension is a matter of preference with yarn like this.

It is shallow in shape so you get plenty of width to throw over your shoulders without too much of the shawl being hidden down your back. Knitting: Ankle Sock
This is a pattern for a mismatching ‘pair’ of baby socks. It uses one short row heel, one afterthought heel, a figure-8 cast on for one toe, and a grafted closure for the other.
Crochet: Scarf
This cute scarf with matching corsage can be made any length up to 190cm with just 3 balls of a main colour and 1 ball in a contrasting colour. For a scarf longer than 190cm, another ball of contrasting colour will be needed.
Crochet: Coffee / Tea Pot
Hamish is a fun and fluffy tea cosy, just the thing to bring a smile to your face as you pour the tea.
Knitting: Scarf
Caroline is a pretty lace scarf, suitable for a first lace project. A pair of hearts at each end gives it a feminine feel, and the all-over eyelet lace pattern completes the delicate look. The scarf is given structure by a moss stitch border, which is worked at the same time as the lace, so there is no sewing up or knitting on to be done.
