Each knitting pattern is accompanied by quotes from the original literary works alongside watercolor illustrations depicting the characters and scenes from the beloved fictional detective’s life and work.

Knitting: Cowl
This sampler cowl is worked back and forth starting with a provisional cast-on and i-cord edging creates a neat finished edge. Each time you change colors, you begin a new lace stitch, and at the end, you graft the live stitches to the provisional cast on to create a loop.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Agnes Grey is a Sontag shawl worked in a squishy cashmere-merino blend yarn from Anzula. This cross-body wrap is knit from the top down in a heart shape and finished with i-cord ties to secure it in place. The garter check pattern across the body of the shawl gives an illusion of basket-weave texture. Suitable for beginners.

This fun cardi-shrug is knit from the top down and features cozy long sleeves and a loose-tie front.
