Practical design is my favorite, because it means that everyone can find a purpose for the item. Not everyone wears hats or cowls. So, I set out to design an item that has multiple uses. This fun little pouch can be used as a travel makeup bag, or a notions holder, or a pencil pouch, the possibilities are endless! What will you use it for?

Do you have a green thumb? Plants all over the house? They need some crochet love, too! This is the perfect pattern for you to dress up those unsightly plant containers. While some plants have a vibrant color to them, most houseplants are your standard green. So why not add a pop of color with your crochet?

Crochet: Scarf
Step out in warmth and function with this scarf. The stitch texture of this scarf creates a beautiful pattern that is well received by either gender. Using a cotton blend yarn ensures that you are warm while looking stylish. This scarf can be worn five different ways and it’s a perfect unisex scarf.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The Rustic Ridgeline Wrap is an exclusive design inside Issue #30 of Happily Hooked Magazine.
Crochet: Cowl
This cowl uses a fun stitch that creates a unique texture that works well for men or woman. The best feature is it’s crocheted in one piece. Add buttons, whether it be toggle or round, and fall and winter will be no match for you.
Crochet: Money Purse
My favorite movie growing up was and still is Mary Poppins! Her bag had everything in it. As this little coin purse started to emerge, all I could think of was her bag. I started signing a spoon full of sugar and it just made me smile! Who knows maybe you’ll find endless amounts of pennies in your Poppins coin purse.
Crochet: Scrubber
Cleaning isn’t always fun, and the supplies can be expensive. Crochet your own swifter dry mop cover to save money and maybe enjoy cleaning the floors a little bit.
Crochet: Rug
This rug is perfect for your little ones nursery or will work perfectly in the bathroom!

Crochet: Cowl
The Beatrice Cowl was designed exclusively for the December issue of Happily Hooked Magazine.

This cowl will keep you warm but also look great. This is a smaller version of the regular sized cowl and comes to just under the chin; it avoids the bunching that happens with full sized cowls. This cowl features a wave like pattern and is crocheted in one piece. It features three buttons, I love toggles but round ones look great too.

Yarn: Stylecraft Special DK light worsted weight yarn (3.75 oz/322 yds): 2 skeins of Parchment (main color), I skein each of Cream, Mocha, Khaki, Silver, Lipstick, and Walnut.
Crochet: Scarf
This scarf was inspired from a wonderfully unique and eccentric friend who sent me a picture and asked if I could make it. I let her know I couldn’t because it was knit, but I could try to replicate in crochet. I found the drop stitch and set out to create this unique looking scarf that she loved more than the knitted one. It has a lovely drape...
Crochet: Containers
This basket has a retro or vintage feel to me. It could be the colors I choose or the design. Either way it’s a large basket that will hold a ton of stuff. I love to use as a baby gift and fill it with baby essentials, but it has so many uses around the house!
Crochet: Pillow / Cushion
I’m sure when you think of an anchor you automatically think of a ship and the anchor that holds it in place. For me though an anchor is something or someone that provides strength and support. Whether you love the high seas or see the anchor image as a representation of strength and support this pillow is for you. Use it on your boat, in a bea...
Crochet: Pillow / Cushion
The sail boat is a mesmerizing sight in the ocean. The silhouette of a sail boat is very different than any other boat. You know it when you see. For me the sail boat equates to lazy summer days letting the wind set your course. The Let’s Sail Away pillow can be used for those lazy summer days lying in the hammock reading a book. It can also be...

This decorative pillow cushion is another design in my Buffalo Love Pillow Collection. New York State is one of the oldest states in the union and one of the most well-known because of NYC, the mountains in upstate and the proximity to Canada. The great part of this pillow is no matter where you live in the state, the heart can be moved. It cur...
Crochet: Pillow / Cushion
The love of my hometown, Buffalo NY, is shown in all its glory with this pillow cushion. It features the standing silhouette of a Buffalo with a heart in the center. It makes a great gift for yourself or the family member who loves Buffalo, whether it is in New York, Minnesota, South Dakota or any of the other 13 states that have a city named B...
Crochet: Baby Blanket
The bright colors of spring flowers were the inspiration for this blanket. This blanket allows you to play with color and the arrangement of the squares allows you create a different design every time you make the blanket. The blanket is meant to be airy and is perfect for those spring days, summer nights, and even the early fall. Have fun with...
Crochet: Book Cover
This beautiful cover for a moleskine journal is classy and elegant. It’s a timeless piece that can be reused journal after journal. It can be adjusted to fit different size books. The pattern includes instructions for making a solid color or two toned cover. Have fun and enjoy!
