Inspired by my university’s 116-year-old athletic logo, this collegiate wool cap will keep you cozy in the harsh Chicago winters! If you’re not a Maroon, it’s pretty easy to switch up the colors and the logo (I just made my chart using stitchboard.com’s free pattern wizard).

This case features three sections of vertical cables, separated by contrast color vertical stripes. The sides of the case feature a simple Fair Isle pattern.

This scarf has an inch of garter stitch at the cast-on and bind-off edges, a stockinette body, and a border of seed stitch on either side (to add texture, but also to prevent the scarf from curling).
