Black Basalt is an everyday wardrobe staple, your ‘always-reach-for’ basic cardigan. With a classic round neck and a relaxed fit, it is neither bulky nor boxy. It goes with everything.
An optional contrasting triangle insert/detail on the cuff adds interest without making a big statement.
The double-knitted pockets require concentration and commitment. If you follow the step-by-step tutorial you should be fine. Alternatively, you could opt for a simple pocket, or none at all. The teal sample features a simple afterthought pocket with a contrasting cord edging, which is a good alternative to the double-knitted ones.

The ADVANCED POCKET TUTORIAL (the double-knitted pocket shown on the Black Sample) from the Book is included in the single pattern.

Instructions for the Afterthought pocket (teal sample) are available in the Book.
