It’s a new design added to Contour patterns family, including Contour Cowl, Contour Scarf and Contour Hood, Contour Shawl as well.
Contour Hooded Scarf is a versatile, unisex accessory designed to keep your head and neck warm during the cold season. This scarf is worked in an easy, engaging ridged rib pattern with built-in I-cord edges for a more polished look. Contour Hooded Scarf is worked top down, beginning with a hood. Then the hood is divided into two long straps, wrapped around the neck as a scarf.
It’s a perfect project to make the holiday gifts for your loved ones or just for relaxed knitting.
Contour Hooded Scarf is worked top down and seamlessly with built-in I-cord edges.
At first, work a small rectangle for the top of the hood, then pick up stitches along the sides and work the hood to desired length. After, bind off a few central stitches and divide work for right and left straps. Continue working straps separately to desired length, decreasing stitches to small tips at the end.
