Happy knitting this spring and always!

This new design is added to the Contour patterns family, including Contour Cowl, Contour Scarf, Contour Hood and Contour Hooded Scarf as well.

Contour Shawl is a versatile triangle shawl.
This shawl is worked in an easy, engaging ridged rib pattern with built-in I-cord edges for a more polished look. Contour Shawl can be made in any size from a kerchief to a large shawl.
Three sizes are shown for this design as examples, or you can simply keep knitting until all the yarn has been used.
It’s a perfect small project to make holiday gifts for your loved ones or just for relaxed knitting.

Contour Shawl is a textured shawl with built-in I-cords along all edges.
The shawl is worked from the top center, increasing stitches on every right-side row along both edges and at the center point to form a triangular shape. All increases are easily incorporated into the pattern repeat.
Optionally for the decorative color touch – you can add a crochet border in contrasting color as the shawl is finished.
A video tutorial for these techniques included in the pattern.
