Born out of a urge to get some colorwork on the needles, mixed with a good dose of whimsy, I introduce my Cup Cuddler I (meaning there will be more!) Earthy tones with a hit of fuschia and some tassels just because…

There is only one size, for an average take-out or thermos-style cup. Size can be adjusted by moving to smaller or larger needles.

There’s a coloured chart for the main body pattern and I’ve included a YouTube video and step-by-step pictures for making the tassels.

My gauge is fairly average, and the one mentioned above is measured post steam-blocking.

The total weight of the cozy is .6 oz/17g, 78y/71m with about a third of that amount being the in Edamame shade.

I used the following colours:

• Edamame #24257 (main background colour)
• Cornmeal #24252 (secondary colour in corrugated ribbing)
• Merlot Heather #24014
• Ash #23731
• Clove Heather #25538
• Fuschia #24456

I selected my yarn from my considerable stash of Knit Picks Palette, and it’s an ideal little pattern to knit up with leftover fingering yarn as a small gift or a treat for oneself.
