This is a fun right angle triangle shawl, which uses an alternating lacet stitch with a unique increasing stepped top edge. This has a simple 4 row repeat.

My dragonflies have been working hard on this one. It wasn’t easy but I have taught them to fly in the opposite direction.

This whimsical shawl is designed to be enjoyable to make and unique to wear.

This potholder is worked in the round and uses simple stitches. The cats are made individually as applique and sewn on. A small amount of surface slip stitch is required.

This Headwarmer is worked flat. Size is adjustable by working less rows. Width can also be adjusted by choosing to work only 3 sets of braids/cable instead of 4.

This blanket uses the Filet Crochet technique. It is comprised of basic stitches. Some concentration is necessary as the blanket grows.

Lured into the Labyrinth by the scent of flowers, the Dragonflies find themselves lost. Their sense of direction gone! Maybe you can help them find their way!

It was time I designed a Cowl. I thought that my Clematis Shawl design would transform brilliantly into a Cowl.

This Scarf started out life as a plain old rectangle. I drew up my design and it was too perfect. Too symmetrical! My mind kept looking at ways to make it a little more unique!

I originally designed this blanket for use with a slow colour change yarn. Then I decided that it could look incredible with a Vintage twist to it.

Bouquet for Bethany Blanket uses the same concept as my Flight of the Dragonflies Blanket, but has the gorgeous stemmed flowers as a feature. It is worked in the round with the pattern being in written form, with added graphs and photographs.

Easter is just around the corner and no doubt some are looking for that perfect gift!

What could be better than a patch of dragonflies. I love dragonflies and am always looking at new ways to incorporate them into my designs.

The is an Easy level project with basic stitches. Finishing touches require Surface Slip Stitch and the edging is done with Crab Stitch.

Mosaic Filet Lap Blanket.

CLOVER CHALLENGE. We all know that a four leaf clover is a rare thing!! This shawl has three leaf clovers throughout. The challenge is to place one (JUST ONE) four leaf clover somewhere in the shawl. Be sure to add your shawl as a project so we can see who took the challenge.

I have been binge watching Frankie Drake Mysteries TV Series of late and just loving the 1920’s Fashion, especially the Cloche Hats. I found myself reaching for my hook. So, this is inspired by all the hats on the series.

This blanket has been more than two years in the making. The inspiration for the design comes from a Leadlight/Stained Glass Mandala that I spotted one day. I found myself looking at this Mandala, and pondering how I could make something similar in crochet. The Leadlight Afghan is the result.

This Fun Scarf is worked using the Filet Crochet technique. It then has chains threaded through the holes created.

The Passion flower Square uses part balls of Scheepjes Catona 25g.

This neck warmer pattern works up quickly and uses one ball of most Aran yarns. Yarn used for pattern is Red Heart Unforgettable in the colour Petunia.

’It’s Shagadelic Baby!’

You Make Me Cross Scarf. The name is inspired by how the rows cross over. This scarf is made from Noro Silk Garden Lite but has also been made successfully with dk cotton (Catona pictured) . Any dk yarn could be used. It is a great stash buster.

The hat has two design options.

In the process of making myself a dress, I found that I could not get a flower to work for what I wanted, so I played around till I made this one that worked great.

A very good friend asked me to make a Cowl for her. I had been playing around with Star Stitch at the time and so felt it was a good idea to use it in this Cowl.

This shawl/scarf works up quickly and used less than 2 balls of bouvardia or Red Heart Unforgettable.

Firstly, you may be wondering why I named this ‘The Paper Bag Hat’. I did so due to the way I have chosen to close the top of the hat. It reminded me of the old-fashioned brown paper bags from my days working in a local Supermarket.

This pattern works up quite quickly and uses front post double crochet for the band. Then has six rows of pattern followed by 7 rows of hdc’s.
