Express yourself Beanie, Cowl & Headband is my first design featuring true cables. I’ve already created a couple of designs with textures resembling cables, but this time the cables are genuine and worked with a cable needle. To make it more interesting, I’ve combined two textures: the cables are slightly asymmetrical, half worked in classic stockinette stitch and half in seed stitch. This design features two cable styles and two brim options for the beanie, offering an excellent opportunity to express your knitting creativity. That’s why I named this design the Express Yourself Beanie, Cowl and Headband.

This is my first design featuring true cables. I’ve already created a couple of beanies with textures resembling cables, but this time the cables are genuine and worked with a cable needle. In designing this hat, I played with different types of elongated and slipped stitches. The resulting texture reminds me of ornamental dreamcatchers, protective dream amulets that bring happiness and good energy.

This design combines a basketweave stitch and a drop stitch together in a beautiful and delicate texture.

This beanie features a star stitch in the brim, a two-color Fisherman’s rib in the body and a lateral braid separates the brim from the body. The pattern is for multiple yarn weights from super bulky to light bulky and comes with a video tutorial showing some steps of the instructions.

This design has a long story. At first it was supposed to be a rather simple triangular shawl with garter sections and a few rows of eyelets as decoration. Then a knitter friend suggested to me to add some “movement” to the end of the shawl, so I decided to add more eyelets of different types and sizes until I got the final version of the shawl.

A golden crown studded with precious stones. This is the effect that I wanted to create when I started working this design. A beanie rich of texture, bobbles, braids and colorwork.

Afrodyt shawl is a two colors lace shawl with three lace sections, separated by the two “flower stripes”. Even though the original design has two colors, you can knit it with only one color, as the tow colors are not relevant for the final result.

You can realize this simple cowl project in a few hours, with a super bulky yarn and the basket weave stitch.
