This Advent Calendar was largely inspired by the ’80s Advent and Christmas festivities. Each skein is unique and represents something inspired by the ornaments and traditions of this decade.

It is that time of year again, when Autumn comes around and the chilly weather teases us to grab a ball of wool yarn to knit cosy socks, to keep us warm in the coming winter.

Because a dear friend and knitter was in need of a new cardigan in her wardrobe, she challenged me to design it, so she could have a twin set. Of, course, challenge accepted!

This pattern was designed to celebrate my 44th birthday, and to showcase the beauty ot Pontinhos ao Vento Mix & Match self stripping yarn, it features a textured pattern of mismatched slipped stitches.
