STROBILUS is a fun project to practice your colourwork skills. The mittens are worked bottom-up in the round using two colours. The pattern is easy to remember and you only have to weave in a few floats on the thumb gusset. Choose two shades from De Rerum Natura’s vast colour palette and get playin’!

They have the perfect fiber content, yardage, and colour, but you could never afford a sweater’s worth, so you only buy one at a time and never quite know what to do with them (other than admiring them every now and then).
