As of 25th July 2020 I have disabled pattern sales on Ravelry. I cannot support a website who refuse to acknowledge the harm they are doing to people with their new design. I don’t know if this page will stay live, but my designs can be found via my website www.owlaboutyarn.com. In the coming weeks and months I plan to rewrite my free patterns and host them there too. In the event that Ravelry correct the issues which make the site unusable for many people I will consider returning.

My name is Jennie and I’ve been knitting since I was about 5 years old and crocheting since a couple of years after that, and more recently I started dyeing yarn about eight years ago. I live in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. I’m a bit of a butterfly with my crafting, flitting from one project to another and I’m a typical knitter with many projects on the go at any one time. I have three kids, no pets and one husband! I love the outdoors on dry days, especially in gardens and woods where it is peaceful. As my design experience grows, I hope to gather inspiration from the hills, rivers, beaches and plant life which I enjoy so much.
