I am a knitwear designer and tech editor. I love to knit and design knitwear! My pet peeve is poorly fitting knitwear, so I am changing it! Every pattern I design takes a longer time (for now, while I still do my research and create my templates), but the knitwear I design fits perfectly (or better, depending on your body type) around the shoulders, neckline, and arms. And, yes, it includes the yoke, raglan, etc sweaters! I love and use German Short rows to create a better-fitting garment.
I am a biochemist turned application developer by day and a knitwear designer and knitting addict by night.
In such a short amount of time designing knitwear, I was already published in Interweave Knits Magazine Summer of 2017. I created a modern and simple swimwear wrap.
I love designing sweaters, jackets, tops, and capes/cowls.
Writing a good pattern takes a long time, test knitting it for all my 30 sizes takes some extra time and I need and value the feedback of the test knitters, and just knitters overall!
I hope you like my designs, and find my patterns intuitive and easy to work with. From September 2022 I provide step-by-step video tutorials for every published design of mine.
