Cecile is worked flat in one piece. The back is worked to the armholes, then stitches are cast on for the sleeves, then divided at the shoulders and the remainder of the sleeves and front are worked separately. Stitches are then picked up to work the hood. After seaming, stitches are picked up for the garter button band.
