Fireman Fred is a little hero, fighting fires and rescuing cats from trees! With this pattern you can knit your own fireman, with an axe and hosepipe. This doll is worked predominantly in stockinette, and incorporates a three needle join to join the jacket to the body as you knit. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the fireman is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The hosepipe is an i-cord tube worked on two DPNs

NEEDLES
Three 3.5mm straight single pointed knitting needles, and a pair of DPNs (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 30g in each colour

One size only - 19.5cm tall (including the helmet).
