Something new to do with sock yarn!

This is a fairly easy project - beginners having experience with or a willingness to try decreases and yarn-overs will be able to complete this pattern.

4mm needle is for the cast-on only.

Size information

• 3 months: 9” down each arm
• 6 months: 10” down each arm
• 12 months: 11” down each arm
• 18 months: 12.75” down each arm

Three stitch markers, one noticeably different from the others

2009-08-29: New version of PDF uploaded; most changes are purely cosmetic, but one part of the instructions has changed: pattern now tells you to switch to the 2.75mm needle after doing the cast-on. My apologies for not stating this overtly in the original version.
